How to use Duplicate WebP
- 1. Load the WebP to repeat. Drop or browse for the WebP image you want tiled. The tool reads its width and height so it can lay out copies side by side accurately.
- 2. Set the number of copies. Enter Copies for how many times the image should repeat horizontally. The output width becomes the original width multiplied by that number.
- 3. Download the tiled WebP. Download the wider image once ready, containing the original picture repeated the requested number of times in a single row.
When to use Duplicate WebP
Duplicate WebP repeats an image side by side into one wider tiled file, useful whenever a single image needs to become a seamless-looking row of copies. It is a quick way to build a repeating pattern from one source graphic.
- Building a repeating background pattern. A small tileable graphic needs to become a wider background strip for a website section, and duplicating it several times across produces that repeating band directly.
- Creating a filmstrip-style preview. A single frame needs to look like part of a longer strip for a mockup or design concept, and repeating it side by side quickly produces that filmstrip effect.
- Testing a layout with placeholder tiles. A grid or carousel component needs several identical placeholder images to check spacing and alignment, and tiling one source image produces enough repeated copies at once.
Examples

About the Duplicate WebP tool
Duplicate WebP does its work locally, right in the browser. Repeat a WebP image side by side into one wider tiled image. There is no upload step, no queue and no account, and your data never travels over the network.
It belongs to the WebP Tools collection on EditSafely, a set of 57 small, focused WebP utilities that share the same instant, private workspace.
You can shape the output with the Copies setting, and the result refreshes the moment you change it. The finished file is put together in browser memory and saved with the Download button, so it never touches a server on the way to your disk. A worked example further down the page shows exactly what the tool produces for a real input.
Running locally also makes the tool fast and dependable: results appear as you type or drop a file, there is no server outage that can take it down mid-task, and confidential data can be processed without a second thought.

Yes, it is completely free. All 2,658 tools on EditSafely work without an account, a subscription or usage limits.

Everything happens locally. Your browser downloads the tool's code once, then does all the processing itself; nothing you enter is transmitted, stored or logged. You can even go offline after the page loads and it will still work.
Which files does Duplicate WebP accept?
It accepts WebP images. There is no file size cap imposed by a server; very large files are limited only by your device's memory.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. The tool works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone. There is no account to create, no extension to add and no software to install.
How do I save the output?
Click the Download button once the result is ready. The file is built in your browser's memory and handed straight to your downloads folder, without passing through a server.
